The Zimbabwe Republic Police has officially opened applications for its 2026 recruitment exercise, inviting suitably qualified and physically fit Zimbabwean citizens to apply.
The recruitment drive covers three categories: General Duty Constables, Construction Technicians and Artisans, and Tailor Technicians.
General Duty Constable recruits will undergo a one-year training programme at Mkushi Police Academy. Applicants must be between 18 and 25 years old and possess at least five O-Level passes, including Mathematics, English Language, and a Science subject.
The police are also recruiting skilled artisans and technicians in fields such as bricklaying, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, welding, civil engineering, quantity surveying, and architecture.
Applications are additionally open for Tailor Technicians in areas including industrial clothing technology, fashion design, clothing design, and machine mechanics.
The ZRP says all applicants must meet the required academic, professional, medical, and physical fitness standards.
