Police are searching for Anesu Mautsa, a 48-year-old teacher at Bonda Girls High School, following allegations of sexual abuse involving students.
According to reports, Mautsa allegedly fled after he was found in a compromising situation with one of the learners, while other students have also reportedly come forward with similar allegations.
National police spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed that investigations are underway and appealed to members of the public for information that could assist in locating the suspect.
The allegations claim that the accused used his vehicle and school facilities to carry out the alleged offences.
In response, Bonda Girls High School has announced measures aimed at strengthening learner protection, including enhanced security, improved counselling services, and the reactivation of its Child Protection Committee.
The matter remains under police investigation.
