Prominent businessman Kudakwashe Tagwirei and his wife Sandra reportedly gifted their newlywed children, Taonanyasha John Tagwirei and Poneso Tinomuda Janda, wedding presents worth millions of dollars during lavish celebrations for the couple’s union.
According to reports, the couple received US$2.5 million in cash from Dr. Tagwirei and his wife, along with 33 hectares of prime land in Umwinsidale valued at approximately US$15 million.
Businessman Wicknell Chivayo reportedly contributed US$250,000 in cash and a luxury designer bag, while gold dealer Scott Sakupwanya is said to have gifted US$500,000.
Obey Chimuka and his wife reportedly presented US$275,000, while G6 contributed US$100,000 toward the celebrations.
George Guvamatanga and his wife allegedly gifted the newlyweds 25 pregnant pedigree Beefmaster heifers together with US$250,000 in cash.
Gospel musician Everton Mlalazi also reportedly contributed US$150,000 toward the wedding celebrations.
The total disclosed value of the gifts is estimated at over US$19 million, excluding the value of the designer bag and pedigree cattle.
