The Zimbabwe Football Association has issued a strong warning against the unauthorized use of its intellectual property, including official logos, crests, trademarks, and slogans.
In a public notice dated May 21, 2026, ZIFA said individuals and businesses are illegally using the association’s branding for commercial purposes without approval.
The football governing body said the violations include the sale of replica regalia, the operation of fake social media accounts using official branding, and the unauthorized distribution of ZIFA-related content.
Acting General Secretary Norman Gwangwadza said the association will no longer tolerate the use of its intellectual property on goods, services, or promotional material without permission.
ZIFA has ordered all individuals and entities involved to immediately stop the activities and remove all unauthorized merchandise from the market by May 27, 2026.
The association warned that failure to comply will result in legal action being taken without further notice.
