The Zimbabwe Republic Police have uncovered and dismantled an illegal pharmaceutical manufacturing operation that was operating from a residential property in ZIMRE Park, Ruwa.
The raid was carried out on May 14, 2026, leading to the arrest of 25-year-old Blessed Magagoyi.
Police say the property had been converted into a makeshift medicine production facility equipped with manufacturing machinery, raw chemical materials, and packaging equipment.
Authorities estimated the street value of the seized machinery and finished products at around US$25,000.
Among the confiscated products were pills and liquids packaged under names including Honey Bean Medicines, Gut Restore Powered Medicine, Cynocene Medicines, Fotal Harmony, and Cardio Cene Capsules.
Investigators say the products were allegedly being manufactured and distributed without health approvals, quality control, or proper safety regulations.
The ZRP confirmed that investigations are continuing to trace the source of the chemicals and identify distribution networks connected to the operation.
Police have also launched a manhunt for another suspect identified as Tonee Tapiwa Vambe.
