She did not know what was coming — years of studying, adapting to life in a foreign language, facing cold winters far from home, and building a future from the ground up in a country that was not hers.
But she pushed through.
She became a Textile Engineer and spent most of her career in Research and Development as well as New Product Development, working for an S&P 500 company.
She also became a mother, building not just a career, but a life and a family on her own terms.
Now, she stands as a finalist representing the country that first shaped her — Zimbabwe.
