The Zimbabwe national football team Warriors will take part in the Unity Cup 2026, a four-nation tournament set for The Valley in London from 26 to 30 May 2026.
Zimbabwe will face Nigeria national football team Nigeria in the opening semi-final on 26 May, while Jamaica national football team Jamaica take on India national football team India on 27 May.
Both semi-finals kick off at 7:30 PM, with the winners advancing to the final on 30 May.
The tournament marks a special milestone as it will be the first time the Warriors play in England in a competition of this nature.
According to Zimbabwe Football Association ZIFA, the Unity Cup is more than football, bringing together culture, community, and diaspora pride.
ZIFA president Ngobile Magwizi described the event as a landmark moment for Zimbabwe football, while coach Marian Marinica said it offers an important platform to test the team at a high level.
Captain Marvelous Nakamba added that playing in London in front of Zimbabwean supporters makes the occasion even more special.
