Fuel prices in Zimbabwe have gone up again, with diesel now at US$2.11 per litre, up from US$2.05, while petrol has increased to US$2.23 from US$2.17.
The latest review was announced by Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority, which said the increase reflects ongoing market pressures.
ZERA also revealed that without the recent tax removal measures, diesel prices would have surged as high as US$2.65 per litre.
Motorists may, however, find some relief in the next review cycle, as indications suggest petrol prices could potentially ease.
The latest adjustment is expected to continue affecting transport costs, business operations, and the general cost of living.
