All flights scheduled to depart from Dubai International Airport and Al Maktoum International Airport have been suspended until further notice.
Dubai Airports, which manages the city’s two international airports, has advised passengers not to travel to the airport at this time.
The suspension follows the introduction of a temporary partial closure of UAE airspace by the General Civil Aviation Authority. This measure was described as an exceptional precaution in response to rapidly evolving regional security developments, according to a statement issued to the WAM news agency.
Dubai Airports stated that it will continue to closely monitor the situation and provide updates as more information becomes available. Passengers are advised to stay in contact with their airlines for further guidance.
