President Donald J. Trump has announced a sweeping new immigration proposal, declaring his intention to impose a “permanent pause” on migration from all countries he classifies as “Third World.” The announcement was made late on Thanksgiving night in a lengthy social media post that has sparked widespread debate.
According to the President, the policy would involve an immediate and indefinite halt to migration from developing nations — a move he says is necessary “to allow the U.S. system to fully recover.”
Trump also pledged to reverse immigration decisions made under the Biden administration, vowing to “terminate all of the millions of Biden illegal admissions.”
The proposal includes additional measures targeting non-citizens already in the U.S., including:
- Denaturalizing migrants deemed to “undermine domestic tranquility”
- Deporting any foreign national considered a “public charge,” “security risk,” or “non-compatible with Western Civilization”
- Ending all federal benefits and subsidies for non-citizens
Trump concluded by declaring that “Only REVERSE MIGRATION can fully cure this situation.”
The proposal, if implemented, would constitute one of the most radical overhauls of U.S. immigration policy in modern history.
