Cyberbullying allegations against preacher Evangelist Marufu have been dropped after the three complainants formally withdrew their case on Friday.
Rotina Mafume Musara, Alasia Mbiriri, and Perseverance Muzeya had accused Marufu of posting disparaging comments about them in a video circulated online.
Marufu, through his lawyer Admire Rubaya, challenged the allegations and requested a cyber forensic report together with information from Meta to establish the origin of the comments.
Following the withdrawal of the complaint, the matter has now come to an end.
Investigators have since advised Evangelist Marufu to collect his cellphone, which had been confiscated during the course of the investigation.
