Three senior SDA women, Alaisa Mbiriri, Rotina Mafume Musara, and Perseverence Muzeya, have reportedly filed complaints against Evangelist Marufu over the use of their videos and images on social media.
The women allege that their content was used to generate online engagement and attract likes without their consent.
According to reports, Evangelist Marufu had shared a post criticizing their actions, arguing that they did not set a good example for church leaders and could negatively influence the younger generation.
There have been no reports indicating that either side has attempted to resolve the matter through internal church leadership structures.
The issue has since generated discussion among members of the religious community and on social media.
