Car dealer Isaac Mugwagwa, popularly known as Boss Rhodes, has appeared before a Harare magistrate facing a charge of trespassing following an incident at State House.

According to reports, the incident occurred in the early hours of March 28 when Mugwagwa allegedly attempted to enter the restricted premises while demanding to see President Emmerson Mnangagwa.

Authorities say he claimed that unknown individuals were pursuing him and intended to harm him, prompting his calls for assistance.

It is further alleged that he refused to leave the area after being ordered away and was later arrested by police officers.

Mugwagwa has since appeared before Magistrate Jessie Kufa, with the matter now set to proceed through the courts.
