Zimbabwe is mourning the passing of Dr Victor Matemadanda, who served as the country’s Ambassador to Mozambique and Eswatini.
The news was confirmed on Saturday by government spokesperson Nick Mangwana, who described the loss as a sad moment for the nation and extended condolences to President Emmerson Mnangagwa, the Matemadanda family, friends, and all Zimbabweans.
Dr Matemadanda was a prominent political figure who also played a leading role in the Zimbabwe National Liberation War Veterans Association.
Throughout his public service career, he held several important positions and was widely known for his dedication to national affairs and diplomatic service.
