Commissioner-General of Police Stephen Mutamba has officially commissioned a new fleet of motorcycles aimed at strengthening policing operations across Zimbabwe.
The all-terrain motorcycles will be deployed for urban patrols, rural operations, traffic enforcement, and rapid response duties in different parts of the country.
Authorities say the new fleet is expected to improve police mobility, enhance crime prevention efforts, and ensure faster attendance at incident scenes.
The motorcycles will also support general and targeted patrols while helping law enforcement officers tackle reckless driving and other traffic-related offences.
Police believe the additional resources will boost operational efficiency and improve service delivery to communities nationwide.
