Convicted rapist Anymore Zvitsva has been sentenced to 89 years in jail after being found guilty of multiple serious offences.
The 35-year-old faced four counts of rape, five counts of attempted murder, and one count of robbery.
According to court information, Zvitsva pleaded guilty to all 10 charges when he appeared before Harare regional magistrate Francis Mapfumo last week.
The sentencing concludes a major criminal case that involved violent offences committed against several victims.
Authorities say the lengthy prison sentence reflects the seriousness of the crimes committed.
