A 31-year-old Miami-based lifestyle influencer, Ashlee Jenae, was reportedly found dead in a hotel room at a luxury resort in Tanzania while on vacation celebrating her birthday.
The tragic incident comes just days after her recent engagement to fiancé Joe McCann, founder and CEO of Asymmetric Financial, during the same trip.
Social media posts shared before the incident showed the couple appearing happy and celebratory, making the news even more shocking to followers, family, and friends.
While McCann reportedly told Tanzanian authorities that she died by hanging, family and close friends have strongly rejected that claim, insisting she was full of life and would never harm herself.
