Cross-border buses travelling to Zimbabwe have reportedly been stuck at Beitbridge Border Post as Zimbabwe Revenue Authority carries out intensive searches and seizures of non-complying goods.
Reports indicate that some buses have been stranded since Friday night, causing major delays for passengers and transport operators.
Authorities are said to be offloading all goods for inspection, with several trailers reportedly left parked at the border as checks continue.
The operation appears to be part of a stricter enforcement drive targeting undeclared or prohibited goods entering the country.
The delays have raised concern among travellers, especially those using the busy Beitbridge route for cross-border trade and family trave
