An angry family in Highfield, Harare, reportedly took the coffin of their deceased relative to Machipisa Police Station in protest, blaming police for the fatal incident.
The family alleges that a Zimbabwe Republic Police officer struck the vehicle the deceased was driving, which they say led to his death.
The dramatic protest has sparked public concern, with many questioning the circumstances surrounding the incident.
At this stage, it remains unclear exactly what happened or how the matter was eventually resolved.
The incident has also raised renewed debate about road safety, police conduct, and the risks motorists face on Zimbabwe’s roads.
