Zambian President His Excellency Hakainde Hichilema has officially arrived in Harare, marking the beginning of the inaugural session of the Zambia–Zimbabwe Bi-National Commission (BNC) — a key platform set to strengthen cooperation between the two neighbouring nations.
President Hichilema was welcomed warmly by senior government officials ahead of the high-level talks, which will focus on deepening collaboration in areas such as trade, energy, transport, security, tourism, and agriculture.
The BNC is expected to usher in a new chapter in bilateral relations, streamlining joint projects and enhancing economic integration between Zimbabwe and Zambia.
Both governments have expressed optimism that the Commission will unlock significant opportunities for development, boost regional stability, and accelerate cross-border investments benefiting citizens of both countries.
